Why Ondo Accountant General’s tenure elongated

The gesture of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to extend the tenure of the state Accountant-General, Mr Laolu Akindolire is in the overall interest of the smooth running of government to ward off unnecessary hitches as Government inches towards a transition within the three months period in question.
The Governor last Tuesday approved extension of tenure, for the state Accountant General , Mr ‘Laolu Akindolire.
The gesture according to statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo is for three months as it lapses on the April 12, 2021, when a new Accountant General of the State would be appointed.
Akeredolu wished Akindolire well just as he charged him to discharge his duties with renewed vigour.
