Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of one commissioner, three special advisers, 90 senior special assistants (SSAs) and 910 special assistants (SAs) to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery across the state.

 

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday.

 

Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba, from Akoko North-West Local Government Area, has been nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties, with her name forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

 

The three newly appointed special advisers are Hon. Abimbola Fajolu, from Ileoluji-Okeigbo Local Government Area, Special Adviser on Environment; Chief Ade Adeniyi, from Ondo West Local Government Area, Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development; and Mr Muyiwa Ogunyemi, from Akoko North-East Local Government Area, Special Adviser on Transport.

 

Among the 90 senior special assistants are Erelu Toyin Ogungbure, SSA, Women Mobilisation (South); Bidemi Obayangbon, SSA, Forestry; Gboluge Olufunmi Alex, SSA, Community Engagement (South); Hon. Akin Adeniyi, SSA, Community Engagement (Central); Obayan Theophilus Ayodeji, SSA, Community Engagement (North); Kelvin Solomon, SSA, Students Affairs; Adeolu Iwakun, SSA, Volunteer Services; Samson Job Bazuaye, SSA, Oil and Gas; Fade Ojamomi, Esq., SSA, Youth Empowerment and Job Creation; and Sam Adepoju, SSA, Public Engagement.

 

Others are Alhaji Samad Orijeminiyi, SSA, Scholarship; Mr Victor Omodara, SSA, Grassroots Mobilisation; Abayomi Adefolalu, SSA, Photography; Alhaji Abdukadiri Adenoyi, SSA, Non-indigenes; Prince Nzuoma Egbulefu, SSA, Non-Indigenes; and Alhaji Garba Goni, SSA, Non-indigenes.

 

The state government said the full list of the senior special assistants and special assistants would be released later.

 

The appointments take immediate effect.
