From Jimoh Ahmed, Ikare Akoko.

The people of Agilo Community in Agbaluku, Arigidi Akoko in Akoko Northwest Local Government area of Ondo State have appealed to authorities of the Council and the State government to come to their rescue by fixing the deplorable Agilo/Iboropa road which they say is very essential to their economic life.
According to them, the road which links the community with Iboropa in Akoko Northeast Local Government is the only route to convey their agricultural products to the town.

Two community leaders in the area, Alhaji Muhamad Akeem and Joseph Aralamo, disclosed that rapid development of the community deserve modern basic amenities that will make life meaningful for them.
They called for upgrading of their markets as they consider closeness of market as advantage to the people.
Mrs Taye Agoyi, another community leader in the area who described market as an essential to the economic growth of any community called for the establishment of Primary Healthcare Centre and Primary school in the community.
Meanwhile, the people on their part have promised to continue with their self help projects like security in the area, provision of recreational facilities, as a way of complementing government efforts since government alone cannot provide for all the needs of a community.
