Ifedore APC leaders endorse Akeredolu’s second term bid

APC leaders in all the 10 political wards in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo state have unanimously endorsed the second term bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
This followed what the leaders and members of the party described as unprecedented performance and purposeful leadership of the governor in the council and the state in general.
Speaking during the gathering at Igbara-Oke, the headquarters of the local government, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun said that they endorsed Akeredolu because of his landmark achievements in all sectors.
The Speaker maintained that the people want continuity of good governance in the state ,hence the need to give him an opportunity for another term.
“Akeredolu is a reliable leader and a man of his words who has imparted lives through his good work. Since his assumption of office, many developmental projects have been undertaken in the local government and the state”, he said.
Also, the Special Adviser to the governor on Transportation and Chairman Committee for “Aketi’s second term”, in the area, Mr Tobi Ogunleye urged the teeming supporters in the council area to give the governor overwhelming votes to replicate his iconic service to humanity.
Ogunleye stated that the Sunshine Rice Mill established by the governor in Igbaraoke which has the capacity of 120 metric tonnes had improved the agricultural and economic base of the council area.
” Health care facility was sited here through his efforts, coupled with the rehabilitations and construction of roads, building and renovation of schools, he has sited another industrial hub in Ijare zone that would soon come to life, while the government has created employment opportunities for our youths, among other unique achievements too numerous to mention. That is why we are all solidly behind him”, he averred.
Both the Woman Leader and the youth Leader in the Local government, Mrs Oluyemisi Adu and Prince Kehinde Oluwajana, posited that the governor had taken the welfare of women, Youths and the vulnerables as priority through various interventions and support, noting that he deserved a second term for the good work to continue.
Also former Chairmen, Caretaker Chairman, Chiefs, Market Women, Community Leaders and other stakeholders unanimously stated that they were canvassing for the re-election of the governor because they have confidence in him, noting that the track record of Akeredolu in all spheres remain a legacy.
The leaders who lauded the giant strides recorded in Ifedore council area said Governor Akeredolu had done a lot in improving the socio economic prospects of the area.
They noted that the Akeredolu administration had embarked on the rehabilitation of some major roads in the council area for easy movement of farm produce to the urban centres among other achievements.
The party members also used the medium to pray for the quick recovery of Governor Akeredolu from COVID-19 to further allow him discharge his duties for the overall growth and development of the state.
