Funky Juju Crooner, Dele Taiwo, has posited that only ceaseless prayers can get Nigeria out of its current economic doldrums.

He lamented that the biting situation has also affected the entertainment industry as well as virtually every sector of the economy.

The Juju cum gospel artiste made this known, at the end of the year musical concert organized by Crest…. FM in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

According to him, our leaders should fashion out ways towards ending the hardship being suffered by Nigerians on daily basis and make it a more better place for everyone to be proud of.

“The issue of insecurity which included kidnapping among other heinous crimes have to be tackled and reduced to its barest minimum.

“Most of us who are entertainers and celebrities are afraid of attending events which is our only or major source of living for the fear of being kidnapped or attacked.

“In those good old days, an event like this would have many entertainers in attendance, but reverse was the case as a result of the fear of the unknown.

” So prayers, I believe, will put our leaders in the right stead to address the ugly situation”, he said.

On why his fans have not been hearing much about him as regards latest songs, he explained that he stays more in abroad, saying he is not for Nigerians alone, but assured that Nigerians will continue to enjoy more of his melodious tunes soon.
