Ondo Amotekun apprehends serial rapist, kidnapper

Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed “Amotekun Corps” have arrested the leader of kidnappers’ market who rapes their victims in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The 19-year-old suspect identified as Ibrahim Sanni, a native of Niger State was arrested following credible information from the Hausa/ Fulani community in Shasha market, Akure.
Confirming the arrest, the Corps Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, while parading the suspect at the command headquarters said” they tracked him through rip-off by the Hausa/ Fulani community in Shasha market after showing them his picture.
“We were told he has entered the town. After series of searching, we were able to apprehended him. At the point of arrest, he slammed his phone on the ground.
“We understand he is the leader of kidnappers’ market in Ondo state as he goes about from Ibadan to Iseyin down to Akure pretending he is a tomatoes seller, but operates the kidnappers’ market.
According to the victim,” I am 19 years old from Niger State, I have been in Ondo State for the past five years now when I got into this business.
“I sell tomatoes in deferent locations in Southwest, like Ibadan, Iseyin and Akure. I met my other gang members from road block area in Akure where we moved together in Shasha market.
“The lady we raped also used to come around to sell things in Shasha market. The four of us jointly raped her as the others ran away as we were being chased by Amotekun people,” he said.
