The All Progressives Congress (APC), and People Democratic Party(PDP)Ondo State Chapters, have felicitated with the Muslim community in the state celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, calling for personal sacrifices in the interest of Nigeria and to imbibe the qualities of Almighty Allah.
In a statement by the APC and signed by the Ag. Asst. Publicity Secretary, Ayodele Oladimeji Blackey and made available to The Hope.
The party stated that national development does not come by accident, but by careful planning, sense of commitment, self-discipline, and sacrifices, putting the overall wellbeing of the citizenry ahead of individual gains.
The party urges Nigerians to always strive for peaceful coexistence, and national unity to fast track physical and economic developments.
While praying that the blessings of Allah would continue to abide with the Muslim faithfuls, and indeed Nigerians, the chapter appeals for moderate celebration during the holiday.
Ondo APC congratulates the entire Muslim community, imploring those that Allah have blessed to extend hand of love and care to the less privileged , in the spirit of the season.
Also, the Peoples Democratic Party, Ondo state chapter has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on this year celebration of Eid-el Kabir.
According to a press statement signed by the state party chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams and made available to the press by the state Publicity Secretary, Hon Kennedy Peretei, the party felicitates and charge them to always pursue and demonstrate the qualities of Almighty Allah.
“It is yet another opportunity to appreciate Almighty Allah( SWT) for sparing our lives to witness this year’s Eld-el-Adha.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) heartily rejoices with our Muslim brethren on this splendid occasion.
“As we all know, this particular celebration epitomizes and exemplifies a life of commitment, total obedience and sacrifice lived by Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) and achievements attainable from this enviable lifestyle which includes supernatural provision and abundant life.
“While awaiting the sweet turn of events particularly in Ondo State, I urge all of us to exercise caution in the process of celebrating this year’s Eld-el-Kabir by maintaining all the non- pharmaceutical protocols against the newly discovered, deadlier COVID-19 Delta variant so that all of us who have made this sacrifice can also live to witness the better days ahead” it stated.
