Fast rising artiste, Miller Opeyemi Oluwayoose, popularly known as YemiCloud has stated that God inspired him to transform souls through singing. Born and brought up in Akure Ondo State, he said being a member of the choristers of his church helped him build his talent.

According to him, “being a member of the chorister afforded me the platform and ability to compose and write songs.

He stated this during an interview with  Friday Extravaganza. Excerpts:

What inspired you to sing?

The spirit of my music is directed by God as men do say, that Satan owns spirit of music, but mine is from the creator of the universe.

What got you into music?

Ahhh! music has been my take from birth, I started playing drums professionally in the church when I was seven years.

” I started singing professionally in 2010, so music has been a blessing to me from God.

Do you think you could get any better as a musician and how would you achieve that?

Yes, I believe I can attain stardom by not relenting and keeping on updating, because anything we are into, we need constant update as things change every second.

How do you prioritize your schedule?

It’s very important to me like I take it with all seriousness because I see it as a means of dishing out God’s message and giving full sweet lyrics to events.

Which one will you consider as the best song you have ever released and why?

The best song is “Ọba toni ọjọ gbogbo “it’s a single track. The song always motivates me, it’s full of God’s faithfulness. I was just in the studio without a write up when I started recording it.

If you have one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

All I could say to my people out there is that they should remain focused in whatever they engage in.
