A popular hip pop music artiste, Oluwajemiluyi Miracle Olusola, popularly known as Big Millz has said hip hop requires huge discipline.
According to him, being an hip pop artiste does not allow him to womanize, saying he has self discipline when it comes to ladies’.
Big Millz said seeing international stars who rose from nothing to be global names makes him know everything is possible.
During an interview with Friday Extravaganza, the artiste said that he saw music as a way for him to express himself.
According to him, his background inspired him.
He noted that inspiration comes in different forms, noting that pointing at a particular source won’t be fair.
He disclosed that one of his major challenges since he started singing is finance.
While commenting on Nigerian music industry, he said: “For me, I will say we’re in the best time because our sounds are been accepted and artistes are gaining a lot of recognitions and that’s a good thing”.
The artiste stated that his parents are in full support of his career, adding that “it’s all about doing the right thing at the right time, get your degree and go on to do whatever makes you fulfilled.
“As an independent, up-and-coming artiste, it is easy to trace my problem to finance but the most important goal of any artiste is to find ways to keep growing loyal fan base”.
Big Millz disclosed that “If I wasn’t into music, I’ll still want to be a creative person so, I’ll probably be into dramatic arts or in a 9-5 world, I’ll be a project manager where I can oversee different creative activities.
“I have been diligent with that and I look forward to having more people align with the Big Millz brand. Don’t worry, the music will be great, always.
According to him, “knowing God has given me a gift, I should make the best of it .
“I look up to different people. You only need to look here and there and you can pick different good values that have made these big names successful. “
“Where necessary, I pick what I need for my craft and work with it in my own ways,” he explained.
He stated that he has produced many songs and recently dropped an EP titled “PLUS SIZE EP, TEDDY BEAR SERIES” and a music video titled JORO.
