NCC donates ICT equipment to ACE

In fulfilment of its promise to boost internet service in Adeyemi College of Education, (ACE) Ondo , the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has donated one hundred and ten laptops and an additional internet connectivity equipment to the College.

The Acting Director, Management Information System MIS, of the College, Dr. K. Adenegan, took delivery of the laptops and other items, saying that they were received in good working condition.

He recalled that in 2018, the NCC,represented by its ICT Connect, assessed the state of internet connectivity in the College and after the assessment,the  NCC regulatory body promised to donate more equipment to boost internet service in the college, noting that the promise has been fulfilled with the delivery of a consignment of laptops to the school.

The AD who hinted that the drive is to enhance communication and boost internet service delivery in Nigeria posited that the delivery of additional laptops and internet connectivity equipment  (BRANDED HP NOTEBOOK 15 INTEL CELERON N 3060 46B RAM 500GB HDD) with the already installed bit locker anti- theft and anti- virus software license and integrated e-learning suite to the College is commendable.

“These deliveries were part of a project by the NCC titled NCC Wireless Cloud 2017 Project and this consignment was duly delivered and acknowledged along with waybills titled NCC Wireless Cloud 2017 Project and WAYBILL WB/MGL: 0000290.

“Some of the equipment donated were: two CAT 6 UTP23 AWG PVC solid cable, one RJ 45 Connector, one Thunder Arrestor, twenty Wall Trunks16mm by 25mm, thirty 2.5 mm Electrical Cable for UPS Installation flexible black (30m per site), three 13 amps plug, one hundred and ten Branded HP Notebook 15-RA007 NIA.
