T he Ondo State Football Association (ODFA) has concluded plans to hold its Annual General Assembly (AGA) tomorrow.

This Assembly, which involves all the 18 football council chairmen, along with board members and other invited guests will mark the first anniversary of the present Otunba Dele Ajayi-led board.

Ajayi won the Association’s election on March 10, 2021 and emerged the number one football administrator in the State.

Other dignitaries billed for the event are; Ondo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Bamidele Ologun and representative of Ondo State Football Agency among others.

Matters affecting the improvement and development of football, especially at the grassroots in the state will be discussed at the event.

In the last one year, Ondo State FA has engendered the exposure of talents at the grassroots by inviting national team coaches for local competitions.

Also, the FA has prioritised the capacity building of grassroots coaches through the training of no fewer than 100 coaches — 75 from Ondo State and 25 from other South-West states among other achievements.
