Osun APC berates party leader’s claim on congresses

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state has said that the claims and submission of the leader of The Osun Progressive (TOP) Elder Adelowo Adebiyi on wards and local congresses of the party were not necessary for the sake of unity and peace.
This is contained in a statement issued from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Barr Kunle Oyatomi and made available to journalists in Osogbo.
The party said it is absolutely irrational and illogical for any person or group calling the exercise of Elegbeleye-led Congress Committee an “impunity’ and telling the National Caretaker andv Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives vCongress not to allow the Osun wards and local congresses to stand.
However, “it is very clear that in Osun, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is indivisible entity. No parallel Congress was conducted anywhere in the state, the report of the Elegbeleye led Congress Committee is justifiably grounded and remained valid”, adding that, “it is a joke of “ember months” for whoever believed or described the Osun APC wards and local Congresses as “compromised process”.
Oyatomi also explained that the issue on ground in the party is just an intra-party affairs, which could be amicably settled within the party’s hierarchy and leaders, rather than taking it too far to the extent that the prostrate opposition parties are making jest of us all.
The party therefore appealed to the leadership of the Osun Progressive (TOP) to sheath their sword and embrace thorough and peaceful reconciliation for the betterment of our party and for the party to be victorious in the next year’s gubernatorial election in the state.
