Osun Police nabs man for alleged N4.5m PoS fraud

Detectives of Osun State Police have apprehended a suspect, Akeem Arole over alleged involvement in stealing and fraudulent activities.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola on Friday at the police headquarters, in Osogbo revealed that the suspect was arrested in Lagos State after commiting the crime in Osun.
The police PRO stated that the case started when a complainant in July 2023 reported a series of unauthorized transactions amounting to four million, five hundred thousand naira (N4.5m) from his bank account.
“On receipt of the case, a team of operatives from Anti-Vice section swung into action and consequent upon digital led intelligence investigation, the suspect Akeem Arole Adeniyi was followed up to Lagos State where he was apprehended.” The police spokesperson stated
