Sunshine Stars resume training ahead new season

After a week break, Sunshine Stars Football Club will resume for training session today at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure, the state capital .

The Kabiru Dogo tutor side will from the start of the new week intensify preparations for the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

According to a release made available to Sporting Hope, by the club’s media officer, Chris Okunnuwa, the Owena Whales are expected back from a week break following an impressive outing at the 2019 Ogunjobi Gold Cup tourney in Ilorin, which formed part of the team’s concluded programmes for its first phase of preparations for the new campaign.

The Club have since finalised arrangements for the concluding part of its pre season activities with a close camping programme outside its Akure base for a later date.
