Some suspected assailants in Ada area of Osun State have reportedly killed a 42-year-old man, Dele Agboola.
The Hope gathered that Agboola was killed on Thursday night by three men who disguised as customers who wanted to purchase medicine at his wife’s shop located in Pako Area, Ada.
It was gathered that the assailants who were three in number arrived when the man (deceased) left the shop and gone inside his residence.
According to sources, few minutes after he retired inside, Dele (Agboola) came back to the shop to pick up his mobile phone charger.
He was about to leave the shop again when the assailants approached him and asked if he was Dele Agboola, and he told them he was the person bearing the name.
“Immediately they confirmed his identity, they shot him. Those that attacked him were three in number. They fled the area and people ran in different directions to avoid being attacked.
“Relations of the deceased prevented security operatives from taking away his remains for autopsy.”
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Osun State Command, Kehinde Adeleke who confirmed the incident, said the case was reported and efforts are ongoing to track down the killers.
