Benlab under -16 and Royal-Godwin under 13 have emerged winners of Power Soccer competition tagged: 2023 Frank Peter U-13 and U -16 Cup respectively.

Benlab U-16 thrashed Royal-Godwin U-16 4-0 to win the senior category of the competition,while Royal-Godwin junior side pummeled Rock crystal U-13 4-1 in the final competition held at Akure High School.

Brave Eagles U-13 Football Academy won U-13 third place, while Akure City won third place in the U-16 categories.

Individual awards were also given to the outstanding players in the competition.

In a chat with newsmen, the sponsor and coach of RoyalGold, Blessing Perez disclosed that the competition was put in place to discover budding talents.

He commended all sports enthusiasts and partners that contributed to the success of the competition, calling on private individuals to join hands with the government to develop sports in Ondo State.
