Risk is a term or a language commonly used by the business men and women and especially investors. They understand this as taking advantage of an opportunity without minding the lose or gain it may cost you.
So risk is seen as an opportunity and taking every possible means within your reach to achieve its benefit.
For instance, you over heard that there is always scarcity of fuel at a particular period and such a period is at hand, then you get the means of buying fuel by keeping it in your custody pending the time of the scarcity; either you borrow the money as loan or you dispose a property in order to invest into this business, it is a “Risk” taking on your side.
Why it is a risk is that, it can favour you or bring you down because there is no much assurance or certainty of the end of the deal, until the end comes. Such us risk has no rest for its taker until the end comes.
When you are taking risk as a wise one, the best thing you can do is to consult the expert in the field and make research on that particular product and its validity.
Again, when government policy disfavours such business, risk taker is on his own. Just like smuggling of contraband goods is to the investors lose if caught.
What is Faith?
Faith is the code and conducts of God for any one who wants to be in good order with God.
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb.11:1. Faith is a spiritual language implore in communicating with God for a better relationship.
Faith is of God and it is a force given to men by God to push or pull anything to man’s desirable position. “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a reward of them that diligently seek Him.” Heb. 11:6
If faith is only the weapon or device a man can deploy to please God, then let us check what the Bible says about the ability of faith to succeed at every effort assert to bring a desirable change to every situation.
“For verily I say unto you. That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe (have faith) that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark11:23.
As far as faith is concern there is no lose. Faith gets every mountain moving. Faith can bring water from the rock, faith makes a woman at her menopause to give birth to children even without menstrual period, faith makes the dead to rise back to life, faith brings money out of the mouth of fish, faith can dance and sing for joy even in sorrow and at the end of the day, joy will come. “… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Ps.30:5).
Faith has rest
:For we which have believed ( have faith) do enter into rest –Heb. 4:3.
There is always rest of mind for those who have faith. Age and time notwithstanding, all that they believe God for shall surely answer to them. Unlike risk that has no rest of mind for its taker until the end comes, faith gives rest to the believer even right from the beginning of the process. Reason is that faith is an assurance that what you believe God for is settled already. (Heb.11:1)
Faith makes you to see the Glory of God
“Jesus saith unto her, said I not unto the, that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” (Johin 11:40).
There is always the revelation of the glory of God to those that believe at the end of their faith in God as reward of their speaking God’s language (faith).
The glory of God is also the manifestation of the power of God. When a man believes God, God reveals Himself to that person, He also solves all his problems by His own power. The reason is that, faith joins the hand of man with God so that man may not fall. Faith also join the hand of man with God so that God can lifts such a man to the highest top he can never reach by his own power and wisdom.
Dear, are you also living by risk today? You risk the marriage partner you married, risk the work you are doing risk the friends you keep, risk the food you eat and even risk your life. If you live your life in risk, you will jeopardize it at the end in hell fire.
Risk is a game of luck, like playing lotto, I think you can see the end of this game, satan is the father of risk but God is the Father of faith. As you live in risk, you play with satan but if you can put your life in the hand of God, obey His commandment, speak the same language with Him, then you will laugh last as Abraham and Sarah did over their challenges (Gen. 17:17, 18:12,21:6). Faith always laughs last. Are you ready to join this assurance trip? The simple instruction is this: “that you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved” (Act.16:31).
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever beliveth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). You only need to believe in Jesus and follow Him as Aliquran also confirmed this.
“Behold! Allah said: “O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself (death and resurrection) and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those ‘who follow thee superior to those who reject Faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
“As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with severe chastisement in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help. “Quran 3:55-56 (Surat Almran).
Therefore, are you ready to believe and follow this Jesus Christ? Pray this prayer of faith with me “Lord Jesus, I believe that God sent you as a mercy unto the world and as the Saviour. I have come to God through you today. Forgive all my sins, remove my name from the book of hell, and write my name in the book of life, make me a born again child of God. Thank you Father for accepting me. (Amen).
